How it happens in the movies:
FBI Agent (to police on scene): "You're relieved of your command, this is our jurisdiction now."
Police Officer: "Like hell it is! This is my crime scene! You can take your jurisdiction and shove it up your ass!"
Reality:
FBI Agent (to police on scene): "You're relieved of your command, this is our jurisdiction now."
Police Officer: "Thank God! I thought you guys were never going to show up. If I don't take my kid to soccer practice tonight my wife is going to be pissed. See ya!"

LOL...somehow I can't see that working it's way into a CSI script...
LOL!! That was too great.
still laughing!!!!!!!
Hahaha.
So said Sergeant Passdabuck, hopping into his car...
Next up, you should look into those TV/movie scenes that show NSA agents showing up with submachine guns...
Bwah ha ha haaa! Never looked at it that way before.
Yah...and in the movies all the FBI Agents are named MR. Smith, and in real life all the FBI Agents are named Mr. Smith....wait..what?
Isn't that just the way it is in reality?
I do love passing the buck myself. I'm kind of lazy that way.
now that would be reality TV, huh??
I remember this cheesy line from (I think it was) NYPD Blue.
Someone was taken into custody in the morning and he was like, "It's time for me to go to work, if you don't have any further questions for me, a-hole."
And the policeman went, "Well, it's time for this a-hole's coffee and morning crap."
what that was all about, I'll never know. You can see how confusing this was for me... NYPD Blue stopped airing in 2005.
Michael.
Very astute.
