Steve: "Wow, what an interesting day."
Diane: "You're tellin' me."
Steve: "Thank God you were able to get our daughter out of the TV, that was a close one."
Diane: "Personally, I think the high point was when the tree tried to eat our son."
Steve: "Oh, I forgot to tell you, you know that creepy clown that we got him for his birthday? It dragged him under the bed and tried to strangle him."
Diane (shakes head slowly): "Crazy clown...I'm just glad it's all over."
Steve: "Well, it's getting kind of late and we're obviously not going to move out of this house right away, I mean it's not like it's collapsed on itself or anything, so I'm gonna go out for a little while and leave you and the kids alone."
Diane: "Sounds good, I think I'll take a long bath."

What a creepy movie that was. Did you see the commercial they just aired featuring the little dead girl? I think it was for a cell phone carrier... Holy Bad Taste Batman!
Adlibby: Funny thing is I had a post about that commercial last month

Great post! Feel free to check out my fan site dedicated to the "Poltergeist" series at www.poltergeist.poltergeistIII.com
Regarding the "controversy" over the Direct TV ad, actually most fans of Heather O'Rourke thought it was a great tribute to her. And yes, her mother did give permission for the ad to be done.
For some reason it's only the people who know the movie in passing who found the ad "offensive." Most really big fans of Heather and the series thought it was a cool tribute.
Talk about to much 'screen time' badumbump (rimshot)
Holy Poltergeist fandom, David!
KMc-stop being so funny, i need to go to bed dammit.
Ok...that picture is just frightening!
Steve: You might want to stay away from the water, at least don't let the kids hear you running it. I forgot to tell you that the pool pit out back is filled with corpses that floated up in the storm.
Diane: Good point. Maybe just a shower.
Amy: That's funny, I did write about the skeletons in the pool but then I had to take it out because I realized it hadn't happened yet in the movie.
:-)
omg you had me LAUGHING out loud.
Those creepy movies CREEP ME OUT. jesus.
"You moved the headstones but not the bodies!"
Silly person, the bodies were the only thing keeping the lawn green.
Ooh, maybe the clown was inhabited by the spirit of the one that Captain Dumbass found in the golf cart!
Hold up, so you actually watch each of these movies over for your posts?? Dude, I want some of that spare time!!
OR:
You must have led a life on the straight and narrow to remember the order of key plot points in all these movies. :) I *obviously* have not. lol
Amy: Nope on both accounts, I just remember movies for some reason...and songs.
...including key plot points...it's like going through a filing cabinet in my mind.
I hate clowns......
Man, that movie freaks me out. The pool scene was creepy.
